Project Description

This new, approximately 5,000 gross square feet regional Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), is a six-bed, short-term respite/crisis stabilization program that will serve consumers with intellectual disabilities and a variety of regional staff to support their program model.

 

REACH is A Design/Build project for a housing facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and challenging behaviors or dual diagnosis (mental illness and I/DD) for the REACH program. Designed to achieve EarthCraft Virginia Certification.

The floor plan includes: living/family room with fireplace and restroom; dining area with partition wall; spacious kitchen with 2 sinks; 5 bedrooms; 1 ADA bedroom with private ADA bathroom; conference room; director’s office; shared work/office area with 6 workstations and restroom; nurse’s office with medicine closet; 2 car garage with attic storage space; side porch; large backyard with covered porch.
