CLIENT ASK: Pinnacle Living engaged Cornerstone to develop the expansion of the fitness center and first floor amenity spaces at their Williamsburg WindsorMeade location. They wanted to upgrade the fitness offerings, as well as provide a multipurpose game room, and an enhanced morning coffee bar/evening bar space for their residents.

CHALLENGES: Resident input was a key factor in which amenity functions would be included in this renovation. Pinnacle also wanted to complete several studies assessing whether to build an addition or renovate existing spaces for the project, after considering resident input and budget constraints. This process included client meetings, several building studies, and pricing exercises.

OUR SOLUTION: We were able to work within the existing building footprint to enlarge the fitness center for increased exercise functionality and an updated juice bar. We used feedback from Pinnacle and the residents to create distinct amenity spaces off the lobby, including a multi-functional ‘old world style’ game
room, and a bar with a transitional coffee shop feel.
