Cornerstone worked with Richmond Dermatology on full interior design services for the tenant buildout of their new 8,100 square foot Aesthetics Center in Richmond, VA. Project scope included programming, space planning, construction documentation, as well as finish and furniture selection and specification.

The intent for this space was to create a luxury experience for clients of the Aesthetic Center of Richmond Dermatology in a suite that feels more like an upscale day spa than a medical office. Clients can relax before and between appointments in the soft seating of the main lobby and flanking lounges, after getting a beverage from the lobby wet bar. After appointments, clients are invited to browse the custom display shelves of the in-house retail boutique, with master aestheticians guiding them to products that suit their specific needs. Warm bronze and gold metallic bespoke accents, statement lighting, soft blush tones, and classic Calcutta gold tile floors are featured in the lobby and retail spaces, transitioning to herringbone wood look LVT floors throughout the rest of the practice for acoustic control and comfort underfoot. The entire space is outfitted with a custom scent diffusing system, evoking a sense of calm and tranquility from the moment clients walk in the front door.
