About This Project

Client Ask: To redesign the break rooms and restrooms on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Floors of the Riverside Building on the Dominion Energy Tredegar Campus.

Challenges: We were tasked to design this project to match the Dominion standards of finishes, but also to give the Riverside Building it’s own identity. This was all to be done with like finishes with a lower cost number, and lead-time. The Breakrooms were in need of a function and millwork upgrade to incorporate new appliances and Dominion employee amenities. The restrooms needed more storage to accommodate employee personal items .

Our Solution: Cornerstone studied existing accessories for the restrooms, and researched more streamlined touch-less accessories to move forward with as their standard. The standard finish pallette consisted of neutral tile and countertop surface which allowed the distinct wood accent of the building provide warmth and color.
