About This Project

Holy Cross Academy, a private Catholic school located in Fredericksburg, VA has asked a design build team of Cornerstone Architecture and Interior Design and Wack General Contractor to renovate and add on to their school. These alterations would include the construction of a new cafeteria space as well as the conversion of two existing rooms into a maker space and a chapel.

Cornerstone was tasked with the schematic design and graphic rendering of these potential spaces to help showcase the idea to parents, teachers, and others involved with the school during Catholic Schools Week.

This alteration would produce an 800-square-foot chapel, 800-square-foot maker’s space, and a 6,000-square-foot new cafeteria, providing the school with additional places for its students to come together, learn, and create.
