The final structure is truly a home. We sectioned off the house, instead of treating it into one big institutional area, to give the feeling and layout of a traditional home. Strictly clinical portions of the building are hidden from public view, and secured, so there’s a clear separation between personal areas for the residents and work areas for the staff.
The floor plan includes: living/family room with fireplace and restroom; dining area with partition wall; spacious kitchen with 2 sinks; 5 bedrooms; 1 ADA bedroom with private ADA bathroom; conference room; director’s office; shared work/office area with 6 workstations and restroom; nurse’s office with medicine closet; 2 car garage with attic storage space; side porch; large backyard with covered porch.
Families can drop off their family members in this facility and know that the stellar caregiving and building was designed around their loved one’s needs.
