About This Project

In an effort to give back to the community, Cornerstone was approached by Salvation Army to donate our design services and assist in the finish and furniture selections at the Boys and Girls Club 3701 R Street in Richmond, Virginia.

The facility houses the Boys and Girls Club activities, with several group play rooms for different age groups, a gym, pool, maker’s classrooms, etc. The lower level of the building includes meeting rooms, offices, and an area for adult learning.

Cornerstone worked with the Salvation Army Team to suggest the best products and color schemes to fit into their Construction Budget. We also provided a furniture layout for each space highlighting each rooms functions. They hired the furniture vendor who provided the coordinating furniture finish options, the ordering and delivery.
