Challenge: They needed more room for their facilities as business was booming and current facility was aging out.
Client Ask: Design and construct a new 12,178 sq veterinary hospital
Solution: We created a vaulted open waiting area with different sections for cats and dogs. . The clerestory provides an abundance of natural lighting in the Treatment Area. Solar tubes provide natural lighting in the Kennel Area for dog boarding. The cat boarding room offers full height cat condos, each with exterior window views.
All treatment rooms were provided with separate doors for clients and staff areas. Staff doors lead to staff work areas with direct access to the operating suite.
The Treatment Area features a central vacuum system. The Kennel Area is equipped with a wet/dry vacuum system which eliminates both odors and the need for a trench drain. Builders used full LED lighting system including surgical lights.
The exterior was designed to integrate well with the architectural neighborhood standards of the area.
